The spectacular, vertical walls of Balicasag Island serve as your natural classroom for the entire journey. You will progress from your first limited decompression dives at 40 meters to your final, complex, multi-gas switch dives at 50 meters, all on a breathtaking, real-world deep reef system. The clear, predictable conditions allow for maximum focus on skill development.

Your Transformative Journey, Deconstructed

This all-in-one program will guide you through the complete PADI TecRec core curriculum:

  1. The Foundation (Tec 40): You’ll begin by transitioning from recreational gear to a full technical rig (twinset or sidemount). You’ll master the foundational skills of tec diving, including decompression planning and procedures for dives up to 40 meters (130 feet).
  2. The Advancement (Tec 45): Building on your new skills, you will extend your depth to 45 meters (145 feet). You’ll master repetitive decompression dives and learn to use up to 100% oxygen to make your decompression more efficient.
  3. The Pinnacle (Tec 50): In the final stage, you will reach the summit of core tec training. You’ll learn to plan and execute complex dives to 50 meters (165 feet), mastering the use of two separate decompression gases to optimize your ascent.

By the end of this program, you will be a proficient, self-reliant technical diver, certified to explore the deeper reefs and wrecks of the world.

Course Details & Structure

  • Diver Prerequisites (to start the program):
    • Certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
    • Certified PADI Rescue Diver
    • Certified PADI Enriched Air Diver
    • Certified PADI Deep Diver OR proof of at least 10 dives to 30 meters (100 feet) or deeper
    • Minimum of 50 logged dives
    • Minimum age: 18 years old

    • PADI eLearning materials for Tec 40, Tec 45, and Tec 50
    • Your personal logbook
    • Access to decompression planning software
