Panglao Island Diving

Diver on Reef

Dive with us at one of the best reefs in the Philippines, less than 1 kilometer from our front door on Alona Beach. In a small group with your knowledgeable divemaster, see colorful hard and soft corals descending along a dramatic wall.

Witness breathtaking reefscapes; vibrantly-colored schooling fish like butterflyfish, angelfish, damselfish; camouflaged critters like moray eels, scorpionfish, robust and ornate pipefish, flamboyant cuttlefish; over a dozen species of nudibranch, turtles, sea snakes and more.

LOCAL FUN DIVES

Join us for an unforgettable underwater experience at Panglao island’s local reef. Perfect for divers who are looking to explore all our reef has to offer, local fun dives can be booked by the single dive, or in a package of multiple dives or multiple days.

Unlike our island trips which are available for a full day only, you may choose a morning, midday, or afternoon dive time for Panglao local dives, and can choose to make between one and four dives per day, (three day dies and four if you include a night dive.)

1. Arco Point

Distance:
4.5 km from Alona beach

Depth:
4-30 meters (Nothing interesting below 30 meters)

Current:

There is usually a mild current, great to enjoy a little drift diving!

Description:

This site, suitable for all divers, is also known as “Hole in the wall” due to a small tunnel that begins at a depth of 5 meters and ends in the wall at a depth of 16 meters (the depth varies a couple of meters depending on the tide). The wall ends at 20 meters on a sandy slope beautifully decorated with isolated patches of black sun coral.
Throughout the dive we will find a vast number of soft corals, and on sunny days, the colors and light effects will make this one of your favorite dives. Don͛t forget to look around; a whaleshark might be diving with you.

Aquatic Life:

Ghost pipefish, wrasse, triggerfish, butterflyfish, moray eel, banded sea snake, frogfish, blue ring octopus, orangutan and porcelain crab, etc.
