PADI WRECK DIVER

The PADI Wreck Diver specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices. We also love it because we have a wreck nearby and we love showing it off!

This course starts by reviewing guidelines for researching and respecting wrecks, then covers safety considerations for navigating, exploring, surveying, and mapping wrecks during the 4 open water dives.

You will learn to use penetration lines and reels to guide exploration and techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants. When you have mastered these skills not only will you be certified but you will be able to visit some of the most interesting dive sites across the globe.

• Minimum Age: 15 years old
• Prerequisites: PADI Adventure Diver certification (Better to combine with PADI Deep Diver course.)
