Extend Your Limits, Master Decompression: The PADI Tec 45 Course

You’ve successfully entered the world of technical diving with your Tec 40 certification. You’ve mastered the gear, the planning, and the mindset. Now, as you look down the deep, beautiful walls of Bohol, you’re ready to safely stay a little longer and explore a little deeper.

The PADI Tec 45 course is your next essential step. This is where you build upon your foundational skills, learning to significantly extend your bottom time and manage more complex dive profiles. It’s a challenging and rewarding course that will hone you into a more proficient and confident technical diver.

What is the PADI Tec 45 Course?

The Tec 45 course is where you truly begin to master the art of decompression. You will learn to plan and execute repetitive decompression dives, giving you the skills to explore more of a dive site or even do multiple tec dives in a day. You’ll also learn to use pure oxygen to make your decompression stops more efficient and conservative.

Upon successful completion, you will be a certified PADI Tec 45 Diver, qualified to:

  • Dive to a maximum depth of 45 meters (145 feet).
  • Plan and execute extended, repetitive decompression dives.
  • Use a single decompression cylinder with up to 100% oxygen for accelerated decompression.

The Bohol Advantage: Advanced Training in a Premier Tec Environment

Bohol’s world-class dive sites provide the perfect, real-world classroom to advance your technical skills. The spectacular deep walls of Balicasag Island offer the ideal setting to practice your extended decompression stops. Imagine holding your stop at 6 meters, perfectly neutral, while gazing down at a living wall teeming with life, not just staring at a line in the open blue. This is tec training at its most engaging, allowing you to apply complex skills in a dynamic and breathtaking environment.
